To see if you qualify for assistance from Aly's Prom Closet, high school students should check with their school counselor.  If you qualify, your counselor will provide you with an Aly's Prom Closet card to present when you come to shop.

Qualification is based on financial need.  The student should meet one of the following criteria: 

  * eligible for free or reduced lunch
  * extenuating circumstances   causing family financial hardship
  * student is in the Foster program

Each girl will receive a prom dress, shoes, and jewelry.  This year, thanks to the generosity of the Reno-Sparks community, all the girls will be able to get their hair and makeup done the day of the prom (with one week advance notice). 

Each boy will receive a standard tuxedo rental at no cost to the student.   Please note that tuxedo rentals MUST be ordered at least one week in advance and require a parent or guardian signature at the time of fitting.  The parent or guardian must present a valid ID and credit card to guarantee the return of the tuxedo.  We do have some in-house tuxedos that we will provide to those boys who come in less than a week before their prom.  We do ask that these tuxedos be returned to our store.
